Just wondering... I had I off the manifold when I did my injectors and blew through it to see what it does. Air goes both ways and it's got a little bit of restriction through it. What is it for though? A filter? A restrictor?
Anyone know?
When you changed the injectors did you forget to plug one of the cam sensors in and then catch the mistake without realizing it when you reinstalled the stock injectors?
I just had injectors sticking open on my 1JZ. You can pull the fuel rail and turn the key on to run the pump on this car, cause the rail being bolted down doesn't hold the injectors in like with a top-feed rail. That way you can see if any injectors are dripping, or even squirting fuel, when...
They don't seem to fail immediately... mine have been holding up for about 2000 miles so far at 12-15 psi. 12 was what the boost went up to on it's own from the FMIC, air filter, and turbo-back 3" exhaust. It was creeping up to 14 on it's own when it got near freezing out a few times.

No, it has a ground wire going to it already in the harness. If your igniter stops working when it loses physical ground your harness ground wire is probably broken.
Don't overlook a connector having bent or broken pins inside it. Not uncommon on imported JDM harnesses.
