And the moral of the story.............
If it's too good to be true, there IS a reason!
I also got a deal on a Centerforce clutch like that, and am now breaking in my new action clutch because the CF failed.
I really like the one linked. I grew up on old Mustangs though. Those stripes are a tad small for Mustang stripes, but look good (IMO) on the Supra. I just wish the rear shot was full, so I could see how they look back there. I feel like the back could ruin the whole look, and maybe that's why...
I remember way back when Randy (BIC) first started making them, he posted some dyno comparisons. I wouldn't know how to find them, but I bet you could PM Randy and he could provide them for you.
On the contrary, do you believe you could get good information from the seller on ebay? Dual...
You will need to probably keep the wiring clips that match up to the ECU and the other plugs under the dash. You can remove the wires by moving the lock pin in each one, and pulling the wire out without cutting it. You will than need to figure out which wires from the JZ harness will go where in...
I haven't done the swap yet! But, I could see the possibility of needing some of the wiring connectors. You wouldn't want to throw it away or sell it, and find out during the swap that you need them.
He also mentions relieving as much stress to the mounts as possible, so you don't accidentally break the mounts. I'd venture to guess that he was trying to be as thorough as he possibly could be in his article. He has some of the best articles on SM because he takes the time to have a picture...
I got my new 92 fuse box in the mail, and installed it today. I does get ground at the EFI port where the other one didn't, but that is almost the only difference it made. It also doesn't fluctuate voltages like it did. It will ease my mind about driving it a good bit. I had a very small hope...
A great day!
1. Got to spend the day watching the country's best college seniors prepare for the Senior Bowl.
2. Finally got a call from the post office about the new job. (missed it while at the practice) I will call them first thing in the morning.
3. I drove the car another 25 miles...
64 owners strong in the 92 owners group. I believe I sent you an invite a while back. May be a good place to grow your registry. Let me know if you need a new invite.
Rodel's car is So sexy in pictures that I never even noticed that. But, I would bet my left jewel I'd notice it in person. In for close ups of that and the aftermarket.
The picture is aweful. I see nothing wrong with the car other than faded paint on the hood pretty bad. I've never seen it move, so I'm assuming bad motor some kind of way.
I will take all of them I can get. This is the first time I have had only 1 Supra in the last 8-10 years. Having only 1...

I did some more testing, and found that the ground at my EFI fuse is bad in the fuse box. I have a 92 fuse box coming from Toostand soon. This bad ground causes voltages to fluctuate wildly, and for a while my NEO and Turbo Timer were getting fluctuating power as well. Due to all that, I am...
I had a plunger break off. Replacing the mechanism is NOT easy! You have to work it onto the cable, while you can't see a bit of your arm. Not impossible, but aggravating as hell. Be careful not to take too much off of the plunger. I'd hate to see you have to replace it.
