Could it be as simple as the ECU needing to re-learn idle after disconnecting the battery? Test your TPS per the TSRM. What exactly are you tuning with?
I graduated from postal school today, and start the new job on Monday. After a few paychecks to catch things up, the Supra will really appreciate this.

Matt spent quite a while compiling his Regulus parts. And, I believe he was trying to sell it at one time. He had a small fortune, and maybe still does.
I'm not sure where it came from, brand it is, but it's got Japanese writing on it. The picture was done right when I bought the car, before things were cleaned up. Anybody have any idea what it is, from the little you can see?
Here is a good picture of where on the motor it is, and what to look for. That rubber boot covers over it, and it houses the harness plug. It is much easier to access from underneath the car.

There is an 86 N/A automatic that looks exactly like this car, with the correct, non cracked climate control, and less miles for $6950. I'm not sure but it may have ended today. It had 50-60K miles.
Are you testing these AFM's per the TSRM, or just assuming it is bad because you have the AFM codes? You could have a related problem like wiring or ECU. I saw the for sale ad, and I would advise reading the rules for that section, and revising the post (not trying to be an ass, just trying to...
