Emma is a wonderful name.;)
Wolverine? Either testament to Michigan Blue lunacy or you are cracking a Freudian glimpse into all of your Wyomian ancestry, affinity for the rugged individualist... the wild wild west cowboy-embracing alpha male adorer...
...or you got a bit carried...
Just dropped into the shop! Car looks GREAT... but not quite done.
Honestly, I'm so happy with how good it's looking... I'm callin' it even for missing this meet!
Looking forward to the posts after...;)

No "bongs" but my "crispy" ride might drive you nuts with all the "buzz, beep, tweets and deetle-deetle-deets!"
...not to mention the multi-colored hot-glow chicklet cockpit...:biglaugh:
Kristel... YOU might like it though!;)

DOH! That's like the "chime" that USED to be built into EVERY car in Japan! You'd break 100~110kph and it would begin to "ding...ding...ding...ding..." the WHOLE TIME!
...of COURSE, we would just crawl under the dash and CUT that damn wire...:evil2:

I'm waiting to hear from the shop on pick-up from the body and paint. If it's ready, I would like to dyno... but I don't know car status yet as of today...
Still hoping to make Sunday.

Hey, GREAT feedback all around guys! I'd pull individual quotes, but I'm in an international video conference with Japan and have to get right back to the agenda!
I'll comment more later as I decide what my next step is, but essentially, several have touched on it... brakes are bad, can't...
Yeah, that's a lot of it, Poo! I also think the one side is half-seized, if that's even possible!:nono:
Hmmm... the Wilwood's would be SO NICE back there! I hate to lose my e-brake... so I need to get the EXPEN$IVE kit from Andy... and just can't cut it right now!

Hmmm... unusual NOT to have any pics of something like this. We took a long, hard look and my guy at the shop and I pulled the calipers away and studied them, but honestly, I don't WANT these back in "play" on the car. Bad enough, in fact, that we didn't want to mess with them any further and...
^^^ That was my FIRST plan... but they are just TOO ROUGH to rebuild!
(...and I may NEVER be able to say I can "afford" the Wilwood's... although, Andy is pretty fair with his setup! Actually, even generous!;))
^^^ As stated on the "cost effective" rebuild... just not...

Okay, so my '89 T has CRUSTY:cry: rear calipers that are LONG overdue for replacement. I'd LOVE to go WILWOOD's as I did the front, but a little too tight on cash to do that at the moment.
I've been looking at the LINK above...
Hey guys! I'm TRYING to get a plan together so I can make it for the Sunday Dyno session and "show"!;)
We'll see if I can get the kids covered (I HAVE FOUR!!!:1zhelp:) and then there's the negotiation with the wife...
Car is still in the shop with "wet paint" on it... but I'm hoping...
I found a clip with some decent audio of the pipe at the beginning... (after that, "other" noises begin to overwhelm the exhaust...;))
PS: This footage is with DP and "test pipe". I forget if I shot it WITH the HKS DP or after I changed to the Titan Motorsports, which is less...
EXCELLENT PIPE!;)
Very quiet... but fully capable and very mature in sound. I am very impressed with the construction, performance and "BRUMBLE" that this quality piece makes!
(If you WANT an obnoxiously noisy raw exhaust note, this is NOT the pipe for you!:naughty:)
Here's the...
^^^ EVERYBODY should share your ideology.;)
Great post.
I loved my '84... '87 N/A... and current '89T. (NOT to mention the '04 Solara, which is GREAT DD material!)
...someday I'll have a MKIV as well, and I'll still smile at every other year and model of Supra I see. Always enjoy the...
I spent about $2.00 USD at a local hardware store for a couple copper bits to fabricate into the striker contacts for the solenoid bridge and saved myself a CHUNK of change on my 5mge starter with the same issue. Later did the same on my 7M but got the "right" parts. MUCH cheaper and...
:aigo:
...oh... wait a minute! You didn't mean that with regard to the SIG quote (Kristel's) that I just read in the prior post... I'm sure.:sarcasm:
