No the a/c runs at full blast but just puts out barely cool air. I drove the car for 30 min and the cabin never cooled of a bit. I dunno if they injected it with a dye or not but I'll find out.
To replace the valve it calls for the dash to be removed but I was told the top dash only comes out...
Nice looking stuff. I want some new ss hoses like that for mine!
About the pistons, I may be wrong but I dont think it will matter if you use the .20 pistons over .40? Need some experts in here to comment but whats the difference besides the compression? A rebuild should be a good thing...
Would you see a leak coming from the condenser? I am not sure it's the expansion valve. Toyota ppl at my dad's work said the condenser isn't leaking. all the freeon levels are perfect. Think they said only thing it could be is the dryer or the expansion valve? But will the condenser show leaks...

Looks like my supra will be my DD for now. I opted to wait a little while...
Wow just went through your build again. I guess I missed the first several pages the first time :3d_frown: All I can say is it's looking like your doing a great job saving another mk2! Keep it up...
Woot! I think but I may be wrong. Someone correct me but he can take the fuse out of the fuse box for the ecu. Wait like 5 min? plug it back in and run your car really strong so the ecu can re-learn itself...
BTW my name is lincoln so you can call me that or linc instead of bluechulappa...
Best advice I would give you is to do a headgasket job. That way you can take the head off the block. You will be able to see/work/rewire the knock sensors and whatnot without problem. And you can replace the headgasket because chances are it will be to be done very soon anyways. And when you do...
