Thanks.
I've noticed my right rear is 1/2 higher than the left. The only difference on that side is it has a GR-2 shock and the other side is an Excel-G. Now they are both the same KYB part number and according to KYB are exactly the same. I bought both separately from the same retailer on...
Well I got it over to the alignment shop. I took back roads slowly over there. Apparently on the right rear shock I didn't tighten the nut in the middle of the strut mount tight enough because it clanked and knocked all the way over. The shop tightened it down some more but it would still do...
Kinda feel like a dumbass after reading that and thinking about the geometry of it all haha.
After seeing it for the first time in almost two days it appears to have settled about 1/4-1/2 inch.
I was going to replace the front springs today but my other needy bitch, Mercedes, has been...
Well it's bolted back up to the car. I got pretty worried before I let it down off the jacks about how high it was going to sit because the new subframe bushings looked a lot thicker that the originals from it. That on top of putting some stock 90 springs on there. Well it did sit really high...
Well the part I dreaded the most was the easiest. The subframe bushings just about fell out with the help of an air hammer with chisel.
Once that was done it was downhill from there. I would've gotten it back on the car tonight but gotta go see my baby girl play in band at the football game...
I'm usually more concerned about function when it comes to the bits under the car. I'll revisit the paint with better rust resistant materials but I'm not going to worry about powder coating anything. This subframe refurb has already cost me close to a grand if not a little more. I don't keep...
Apparently not haha. It's Toyota gloss black. I ain't paying to have that stuff powder coated. That's one of many layers or paint. What would you have used?

Well other than control arm issue I made some progress today. I got all the bushings in all the other arms. Stripped them down and repainted them. Then I got the two bushings and parking brake pads replaced on one of the spindles.
Now you wonder why I didn't take the end links off. Well, I...
I've still yet to remove the subframe bushings which it might a few days before I can get back to work on it.
I've got to get a good stripper wheel so I can clean it off and repaint it and also the diff could use some freshening up.

What an absolute ass whippin! If I ever have another supra this subframe going on it. I'd rather pull an engine then go through this again.
I finally got all the camber bolts cut off. It took five sawzall blades and two cutting wheels but I got it done. I also go all the bushing out of the...
