Jay I've had back, neck x 2, and a shoulder surgery. You have no excuse not to have that 2J in your car haha. Gitter done! Well maybe wait till it cools off a little. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well I had to admit defeat and say fuck it. I was going to replace the front subframe bushings but will do so at some other point in time. I did get it lowered but with the heat, mosquitos and all the aches of my 47 yr old body I just threw in the towel. However, I did replace the upper control...

Yep. You'll notice I did NOT remove the ac compressor with the engine. It'll make putting the engine back in a little more difficult, especially if I have to do it alone, but didn't want to have to have the system evacuated and blah blah blah. I did get the new speedo cable in. Today I'm...

Small fans stay on all the time when the ign is in on position

If your thermostat housing looks like this then try unplugging the middle sensor (the one with white tape in the picture). Mine is bulging out and sometimes the fan comes on and unplugging that turns it off. New sensor on the way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    TobyCat's winter buildup

It's nice to see such an old thread still going with the same car and being updated. So it's been 10 years, do you two still look the same as in those old pics?? Haha.

So today I finally pulled the engine/transmission. My other engine is almost done at the machine shop. I've got 18 days left that I can work on this before I take off to Vegas in it. I subtracted the days I work so yes 18 days left. Here's what else I've got to do: Pull the front subframe and...

Yes I used that bearing press on those spherical bushings. I think they a Toyota part only. You can buy them on Driftmotion though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    1991 Turbo Hardtop on eBay?

I bid on that and was high bidder for a little while at around $7500. It wasn't until after I got to a desktop with a big screen I began to question my decision. The guy was selling for the widow of a friend who had died. He said the car was completely stock except for the air filter. Well...

A/C inop after electric fan conversion

I'm over just northwest of Fort Worth. It's looking like the proverbial shit is about to hit the fan weather wise.

The diamond in the rough. 1991 blue metallic turbo targa restoration

The diff looks great. I don't understand why you'd want red like that on such a nice blue car though.

There is no such coilover in existence for a MKIII Supra haha. I'm old school. I like their factory ride. In 92 it was the smoothest car I'd ever driven and I was used to driving GM land yachts back then. [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Today I got my seats back from the upholstery shop and put them in. I also had the extra set of inserts I had recovered to match. I've still got all the cloth stuff including the seats. Yesterday while I was putting the door panels back on it was bothering me how much the body molding was...

Well get on down to the DFW area! I don't hang out with any supra folks around here though. I'm the Lone Supra in my part of the world. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
