Attempted to give the head a soda blast to clean out the carbon, it was alot messier then I anticipated with all the soda going everywhere!

Wow. I guess that's the weight advantage of forged aluminum, it's a shame we can't just simply replace the ball joints on them :(. True I suppose that much shouldn't be too much un-sprung mass for what you already removed.
Hey all had this as my first car when I was 17 back in 2012. When I bought it, owner mentioned using stop-leak because he reckoned the head gasket was leaking as he noticed there was bit of condensation coming from the exhaust.
After buying we stored it at a mates place and didn't see it...
Well they're uncorrected numbers to SAE standard but still they are raw figures. Just makes it harder to compare it to previous figures under same conditions. But dam didn't realize how much of a difference race gas can do.

Ehh how did I miss this.... makes a whole lot sense now, this whole time I thought it moving the top centre of the pin towards the whole of the camshafts which looked way too much to adjust. I'll to be careful not to drop the pin in the timing case. Dropped a bolt in there once and couldn't...
probably a factor for the guys that don't 'walk the talk' which shamefully happened with dr.tweak with his 7m harnesses. People said they'd buy them,so made some and when that day came no one bought em and decided to drop services for it.
