Finally found my answer, the 2JZ coil pack will fit into the 1JZ metal bracket. Hopefully this helps someone else.

I need to replace my coil packs on my non-vvti 1JZGTE and I found a set for sale locally that are 2JZ coil packs however they do not come with the metal bracket that the coil packs screws onto. I know 2JZ are interchangeable but not sure if I need the metal bracket? Thanks!
