I was having issues finding the Crank Sensor cause I was going to clean that one too. Where is the Crank Sensor on the 1J? My Cam Sensors were both quite oily. I blasted them both with brake cleaner and then used compressed air to clean them out. Did the same for the connector.

Hi guys,
Could use a bit of help on trouble shooting this...:1zhelp:
I am getting code 14 after driving for about 7-8 miles (or 15min of driving). Car will drive somewhat fine until it reaches operating temperature then once I start stopping at traffic lights it will start to act up. When it...
I need to replace my coil packs on my non-vvti 1JZGTE and I found a set for sale locally that are 2JZ coil packs however they do not come with the metal bracket that the coil packs screws onto. I know 2JZ are interchangeable but not sure if I need the metal bracket?
Thanks!
I just bought a pair of calipers for $70 that are in grade A condition. Going to test fit with my wheels before buying any of the other equipment. I have Work Meister with +42 offset. They will probably be fine but just in case.

That's awesome, thanks Rollus. The part number for the coilovers is GST38-51SS3. I'm pretty sure that is the model you have. If you can, do you mind checking what model number your motor kit is that would be awesome. Should be M12-M-12 or (EDK05-12120)
Thanks again!

I did a bit more research and found that the Tein Flex are compatible with the EDFC Active except they have an installation note that the rear speaker cover needs to be removed or cut? The weird thing is the motor part number is the same as if I were to just get regular EDFC. Rollus said they...
Hi guys, I'd like to go single turbo by this time next year however I need a bit of help achieving my power goals. I'm curious if anyone is using this kit (see below). It seems pretty reasonable price wise. My power goals are pretty modest. I'd like somewhere between 4-500whp, with boost coming...
I need to replace my 1JZ valve cover gaskets and I'm thinking of buying this Eristic 7MGTE Valve Cover Gasket on Ebay. Has anyone had any bad experiences with their valve cover gaskets (even on a 7M)? I know I need 4 more rubber grommets but I'll just buy them directly from Toyota.
Any input...
Thanks Sidewinder. I checked out Rock Auto and surprisingly the M3's caliper is a single pot 60mm as well, crazy!
M3: 141.34062
Bore 60mm
Bleeder 8x1.25mm
Port 10x1mm
Pad 10x0.03940
Supra:141.44112
Bore 60mm
Bleeder 7x1mm
Port 10x1mm
Pad...
Hi SideWinder, where did you get these dimensions from?
My other sports car is an E46 M3 convertible and that car stops amazingly compared to the supra. The front rotor is something like 12.9" I believe and the weight of the convertible is almost exactly the same as the MK3 supra, so I would...
Might be worthwhile to buy the caliper first, remove the brake pads, mount and test fit with your wheel. I'm not sure that will work though? I have Work Meister S1 with +42 offset that I'm hoping will work with this setup. Pricing items out for me up in Canada this setup is running about $600...
Great thanks for the suggestion and info. Also wondering if I need 4 to 5mm washers or 4 times (x) 5mm washers? If we're spacing out the caliper by 10mm, would it be "safer" to get a bolt that is 10mm longer????
Looks great!
Would these work for Hub Centric Rings? Not exactly 60mm...? I've also seen 60.1mm out there as well.

Yeah, if I'd rebuild the ct12's I'd do the upgrades as well. I believe it is Albert who does the turbo upgrades. His thread is below.
