I just thought it was funny that the intercooler actually has a big "JDM" logo on it when it was probably manufactured in China. It's kind of an inside joke, not making fun of you or anything, and there's nothing wrong with it. :icon_bigg
You guys are right, I shouldn't go grouping all the Toyota techs in with the ones I met that didn't have much aftermarket experience. I understand the first post was basically venting and I would probably feel the same way in that situation, so I do apologize for being a little inconsiderate...
I almost agree with Kai. You know the limits of the transmission, which is obviously slightly under your current setup. So you push those limits and break the transmission, then come on the forum to say it's a piece of shit, obviously to brag about how your engine broke the transmission you just...
Suprasport and us do play nice, there's no bad blood there at all, but when someone undercuts us by a few bucks on something we have sold for years, something they have in fact purchased from me for resale before, then has someone make a shameless plug post about it on the forum we are an...
Or you could get the www.driftmotion.com one for less:

Yes, I used one on my own car and had threads about it starting way back like 3 years ago so it's nothing new...
Check out this thread, it was the original one when we first...
Where's the video of me eliminating Jeff with my basically stock 1jz? LOL
That last pass was really nice Jeff!
And Dave took the stock turbo class AGAIN this year! Can anyone stop him?!? LOL
Today I went back and got some new drivers and passenger window glass for $40. My new Supra has super dark tint on the windows and I can't stand it, plus it's just begging to get a ticket. I called around and they quoted me $40-$50 just to remove the tint so I would rather just swap out the...
I put in some Sparco Torino II seats and realized that I really hate the way the stock seatbelt receptacle mounts to the seat more then the floor. So I looked around and saw that all the 80's Toyotas used the same size seatbelt latch. I found the 1982 Celica seatbelts mount to the floor on a...
LOL for realz?!? Well it is a 7m, at least he tried. :dunno:
It's like a right of passage, you have to build at least one 7m that takes all the money and resources you can possibly scrape together at the time, then you can officially be in the 7M oldschool club: "been there, done that, got...
I love my oldschool JDM C's shifter, but if I didn't have it I would deffinately go with the SupraSport shifter, it's the best design of any I have seen. I installed one for a customer a while back and I was really impressed with the SupraSport shifter.
hahaha, I still help 7m owners out as much as possible....
Out of pity mostly. :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
(honestly I have more respect for Duane's 7m then any 2jz I have ever seen, because I know how hard it must be to build something like that and have it stay together)
LOL, it is called the "MK3's smack talk", so I figured I would talk some smack. :evil2:
No, I am not going to back it up. :biglaugh:
I just took my new mk3 (stock 1jz with a single) for a first drive tonight, I have not driven I Supra I personally own since the day after Vegas last year...
