Got new headlights, installed and works great! Wait.. two extra wires? WHAT THE?

So, I bought a pair of some clear headlights with H4 bulbs to get rid of the yucky, sickly looking yellow beam and replace it with nice bright white ones. =] I replaced my fog lights with H4 bulbs, and prepared myself to install the headlights. As I took the old ones out, and prepared to...

I'm quite unsure if my gauge is reading correctly!

Ah perfect, I was a bit worried I wasn't doing something right. Just getting into the practice of modifying stock. I can honestly say that, every time I change something. This little voice in the back of my head gets paranoid and tells me "Your engine is going to break!". So I get frantic and...

I'm quite unsure if my gauge is reading correctly!

My car is pretty much bone stock, most of my investment went into replacing interior and making it clean inside. Was testing out the new SSQV I installed, was looking at the gauge for my turbo (The one with the cute turbo fan icon!). I thought at full boost it would go up to the +8 mark, but...

Also! I need some sexplanation please! Isn't my current set up, just like plugging up the 3000 pipe and accordion pipe? I meant, since the vacuum on the old bypass valve isn't connected, the valve doesn't open up to release air back into the intake correct? How is this different from plugging...

Ah well, whatever it's called I need to find a replacement. It allows me to connect the smaller hose coming from the SSQV to the larger hose that connects to the 3000 vacuum line pipe thingamajig.

Well, as long as putting a plug on the vacuum line of the old bypass valve is okay, didn't want to do anything that was dangerous. But then again, I took that bet when I got this car. :biglaugh: By the way, does anyone know what this part is called? My best friend was helping me install this...

Well, most set-ups that I looked at had the ssqv on the inner side of the pipe, near the turbo itself. But the way I placed it was on the opposite side, next to the struts(which of course, will get in the way of a strut bar!). After I get a proper fitting, it should be faced the other way...

Alright! So I installed the SSQV! (Backwards, yes I know. I'll turn it around once the proper rubber pipe arrives in the mail to adjust it accordingly!) and it does indeed stall when I plug the 3000 pipe and the accordion pipe. So I went ahead and ordered the recirculation kit. But for the mean...

I don't know, do I? Hah. As for the flange pipe, I'm just going to buy one off of ebay, I'll leave a picture of it at the bottom of the post, hopefully it will work. It's 7.5" long and about 2.5" for the inlet/outlet size. Could I just remove the stock bov and put plugs where A is?

Is there any drawback in leaving the stock bov on? As for the flange pipe, I found one but it's only 6" long. I don't believe that's long enough to fit into the ends of each rubber tube thingamajigs. T_T What can I do about that? Just find a longer pipe? Or.... *dies I don't even know...
