Spend a couple of grand on paint and body. A grand on the engine. you should have a solid car. Then slowly build it up inside and out....... man it easy to spend other people's money......this must be what obama feels like! I can see why he's so addicted to spending.
Same here to many projects for one person. Next up AGAIN!!! Is the crown molding. Are you going to the game tomorrow? If you are I'll take you for a spin.
I think you got it backwards....... you have the engine that can take just about anything you can throw at it. All you need it to get that...
Yeah I dont think you are ready to take the next step. Im gonna run it for a couple of months before I put it up for sell. I have a map sensor on its way, but yes it will still be able to run.
Once again im back at it. Got the sup running, but I still need a map sensor. One of my injectors crapped out on me so I had to swap it out. Gonna try and run it to work tomorrow and see how it does. After I get the rest of the bugs out im gonna sell it so that I can buy a truck. I really need a...
I have a 87 with 57000 miles. But it doesn't really matter since more then half of the car has been swapped. Low miles would matter if it was in mint all original condition.
What condition is it in?
+1 on the port for the wastegate. I see no problem with one. I have one now on my car the ports for the head matched the gasket, only problem was the waste gate.
I had just got it on the road. And I ran into this problem, so I tore it apart and got the injectors tested, bought two cam sensors with plugs because they were full of oil, gonna buy a new pressure regulator. I wonder if my map is crap now? What are yoi asking for the map?
It's not oil, its gummy stuff from what ever they sealed the map sensor with mixed with gas. The fuel pressure regulator was leaking fuel and sending it into the map sensor. Where it ate away at the epoxy, and ran down the manifold.
Yeah, they ceramic coat manifolds. Only thing is it's pretty pricey. The guy with the map still hasn't come through. But I did order two cam position sensors, two connectors, and a knock sensor clip. So hopefully I can get that map by the end of the week, and get her back on the road. I might...
Not gonna be able to make the fun run. My daughter has a dance competition that day.
Im gonna buy that map sensor from that guy on sf. Tomorrow im gonna order two cam sensors, and two new connectors for them. She should be running again in a week or so. The good rhing is that all that stuff...
Bottom left has all the pin outs and plugs you need just make sure you are looking at the pre 89 plugs.
