I know it wasn't your pic, I was just stating that the contraption shown isn't exactly a safe way of going about this task. Something of a bit higher quality build quality would likely be ok.
I hadn't even thought about that, though speaking from experience with my last chassis, the towers...
LOL, if you say so. So why don't you wipe down everything that's wet, start the car, and look for where the dye comes out? You're making this much more difficult than it has to be, and it's all because of user error, or you refusing to think outside the box. There's never been a leak on any of...
A lot. The NSX setup is NOT for the faint of heart. You have to butcher the front of your car- there is no way around it.
I have other things in the works, but an NSX style retro has been in my plans for a few years. I might not even do it anymore- time will tell. There are many other options...
Those aren't my car, but thanks! :) That exhaust sounds incredible, very classy, not too loud, barks at WOT though! I can't wait for it to get here!
Sucks to hear about the white IS, I hope you bring the Intensa home! :fingers crossed:
No update on the lights yet, been busy. However, I did pick up a used (6k miles) Stromung exhaust. Here are some soundclips from other people's M3's...
Meh, that's too big of a turbo for me. Still cool, though. I would love the Motorsport trim on my M3. LOL. Twinscrew must be absolutely nuts! I'd love to take a ride in one! I bet it's nearly uncontrollable - lots of fun!
You should have murdered him. Those things are slow and heavy. I doubt he was around 2600lbs. Bone stock they're about 2900lbs, 160bhp, 160tq. He'd have to seriously gut that thing, and I doubt there's 300lbs of interior in the rear of that car.
One of the previous owners apparently dropped the drive shaft, as can be told by the sheet metal being pushed inward. I always wondered why my center console never sat right. You can see the foamy type filling they used to fill the holes instead of properly welding it up:
The rust was right up...
Wow, it looks great! :) (I see an intercooler on one of those cars!)
Looks like we both need to either A) pull all trim and paint with SEM trim paint, or B) carefully polish them with some Meguiars. :(
I'm diggin' the Motorsport trim, though! (I picked up a set of Motorsport door handles!)
