im figuring it out right now :icon_frow
is it just me or are the seats in the car not out of a supra? also how the hell does the roof stay connected to the top of the windshield?
does it even have a top?
he probably realized how much it sucks and wants to unload it on some poor...
Truth! it looks like he painted over the supra emblem on the nose of the car when he did his rattle can paint job too. the guy who did this to that poor car is made of fail and needs a slap. :wtc:
i think its a nice feature for a cruising car. you get most of the benifits of the targa without needing to pull the majority of your roof off.
as much as i make fun of targa cars, i would not mind owning one myself if my car was a daily driver / cruising car. My current supra will eventually...
just make sure its the right one, there is another that adjusts the distance the wheel sits from you. I wish i could tell you which of the 3 levers did what and where they were specifically, i only know that the most obvious one to see and adjust is for the memory tilt thinger.
My car is RHD...
some of the early 89's had the 88 mounts and a few other things from the 86.5-88's. my guess is it was a way to use some of the old stock to save a little money. So, yes unless you swap your front x member you will need to rock square style mounts.
on your tilt, there is several levers to...
ill hit him with a shoe tonight and tell him to touch base with you.
it would be max win to be able to go out there for a visit. not like i have anything important to do right now. all i do all day is fail classes... :biglaugh:
the sunroof? its nowhere near as common as the lame-o targa top cars, but i can't comment on exactly how rare they are. im not sure if they or the hard tops are rarer but id probably wager there were fewer factory sunroof cars made.
somewhere on SM there might be actual production numbers. i...
i have a good friend who is in the same spot. he has been looking for over a year now for a clean shell to swap his drive train into after he went dukes of hazzard through a ditch and fence.
good cars do pop up from time to time, you just gotta keep looking. you'll find the right car eventually.
Too bad its targa... :hsugh:
very clean car though. i wonder why it just sat in storage for so long. amnesiac own it or something? either way it should be a museum piece.
i dont see the GT30/40 listed on garrett's website, so i assume you would need to buy the exhaust side of a 30R and the 35R compressor side and mate them together yourself?
does anyone have anymore info on this as it seems like it may be the perfect fit for my goals. :icon_bigg
