Pay is about the same, few dollars less/hr... maybe $17 instead of $20...

Old Commute - 150 miles per day
New commute - ~1 miles per day

More sleep, less money to BP, I'll get to see my wife, we can finally get a place and not worry whether or not I'll find a job here in the city, WOOT!

I'm stoked. Thought everyone should know. :icon_bigg

What do you do? BTW congrats. My commute is 100 round trip but it's only every third day.

X Ray tech. 150/day is ftl. It was like my wife and I worked opposite shifts. I leave @ 6:30 -she'd be home about 7:15... She'd leave and 6:45 -I'd be home around 7:30-ish.

Walk, lol. I'll stick to driving in the winter. I can't imagine how stupid ppl up here drive on snow/ice.

*edit*
It seriously took me longer to walk in from the parking lot to the department than it did to drive there.
