welll i just switch it out and i guess i did fry the stock oil pressure gauge...still stuck above 120 psi...well i guess ima have to buy a aftermarket oil pressure gauge...theres this guy selling one for $30 shipped but its mechanical...so what all do i have to do to get it to work?
well just did my jdm 7mgte swap...got it running and what not...but wen i turn the key to on the stock oil pressure gauge goes over 120 psi and now its stuck pass 120 psi and wont more no more...if i remove the jdm oil pressure sender unit out and replace it with my usdm stock oil pressure...
just got done swapping in a jdm 7mgte motor, everything is fine but when i go to boost it it just breaks up like it just hit a brick wall...it wasnt doing it the 1st couple time i boosted it but now it does...also getin code 51 and the light next to the temp gauge(looks like a building), what...

anyways just got done swapping in the jdm 7mgte...started right up w/ no problem...my Q is...Why is my upper radiator hose pinched like its sucking...is it my radiator cap?, water pump? anyone plz help

yes there on correctly but ill double check it...i even turn the crank 360 degree while i have the cylinder leak down tester on pushing 100psi of air into the cylinder and it still leaks
well i redid the compression test and no compression(dry or wet) so i redid the cylinder leak down test and what did you know...all the freakin intake valves are leaking bad like 95%...b4 i put the head back on i did the valve lapping all all valves...guess ill have to do a valve job or just...
its a 7mgte...but my timing is right on...i even set the cam gears to TDC and remove the timing belt and turn the crankshaft to tdc then put the belt back on and still no start and no compression
well just did a compression test and theres no compression...what would cause a no compression but the motor ran fine b4 i took the head off???:icon_mad:...but aniwais i decided to do a cylinder leak down test...and there 100% fine...no leaks at all on all cylinder...wtf is up with dis motor
i repostion the cps as per the TRSM specs and still no start
got it...code 24 was poping up b/c i unplugged the afm and the water temp sensor wires were corroded and i touch it and it fell off so i rewire it and now no codes but still no start...sounds like it wants to start but then goes...
