I have no idea how to make this work... The line goes right into the snail... I could bend the line but I dont want to mess it up. V

Its not just the stud.... The feed line is right on the snail. I cant even begin with the nut while the feed line is hitting the snail. I have to find out if I am supposed to bend the feed line. V
