As for the egr the guys that built the motor said that the UK cars had a different set up to the US cars and therefore were not affected by it being removed. Ed also said that he had yet to find a UK supra with a working egr system anyway.
We have very different emission laws over here than...
Yes i did . What can i say it was built by the best guys here in the UK. The block is not in great shape and if it goes again i will be looking for a replacement. they must know what they are doing i guess.
found the problem. One of the egr block off plates was not fitted to the top of the inlet mainfold. Sounds sweet now. simple fix that has had me scratching my head for a couple of days.
We guys, i have just had my second HG rebuild in as many years. Spent 6 months getting parts and cleaning up what i had. Lots of polishing and painting.
Still have some running problems though.
It won't idle and sounds very rough. Seems like it is drawing in air on the inlet manifold...
Thanks for that, i would have liked to send some new ones with my new wilwood brakes fitted and my blinker covers but alas the HG is still in bits and i am waiting for some spacers for the front wheels to clear the calipers.
What happened to Nicks pictures? ::bhg::

Too bad the dealine is so close my car is still broken. Being fixed in a couple of weeks. Don't have new pics with nice backdrops. Shame as i have lots of choice where i live.
That's what i wanted to here. I have a link to a UK company that make 10mm spacers with the longer studs for £38 plus postage or 15mm For £70 plus. The 10mm would suit me better if 3mm is enough clearance. Found a company selling the same rims i have but as yet he has not said if they are...
Just out of interest, what is your offset?
I tried one of my rear wheels on the front to see if it would clear. I have 19/10 in the rear with +38 offset and it has the same problem.
With 10mm of spacer i have 3mm clearance. Is that enough for expansion?
The next spacer is a 15mm and is...
Yea could try that. My rear wheels are wider. They are 10"s but the offset is worse from the caliper point of view at +38. Not sure how i would fair with that. Can't really bring the rears out any further.
I see you have a set for sale at $995 but they have no parking brake. How do you park on...
Well no i have no idea if the wheel is really bent or the washers are out. Did not check before hand as i had not even considered that my 19's would not fit.
So yours may have cleared if they are flush. Shame, i wanted your kit for so long but i just could not afford the $2600 or there abouts...
