What's crazy is the Yamaha helped developed this intake with sonic testing so cutting it up and stuff may loose flow base on how it was designed.

Polytetrafluoroethylene - (PTFE) - C'mon man stop spreading BS. These vague comments kill me from members that never tried one. These lines burst around 700psi and the fittings even higher...
Forget what you heard! The Braided line is fine. Make sure all the washers are new and all is torqued to spec. Event put a bit of RTV on the upper threads(not the tip that threads in to the pump) with all of this clean and dry oil free, let sit over night and you are good to go.
That is not a...
Hello,
I'm looking for megasquirt settings for a good starting point for running e85.
I have two options in the Megasquirt -
Flex fuel - allows timing and stuff to be added to the base tables
Table Switching - Allows a 2nd set of settings - VE, Ignition, afr, etc...
Can anyone...
Update - go to post #11
Keep in mind this is a 7m, so ANYTHING around the headgasket area should be following the TSRM rebuild process. And like anything else, first time will challenge you. I would let your machinest put the block back together for a number of reasons if you have never done it...
I wanna see some pictures!
Just reading through your post...
Was this a stock or old worn clutch and associated parts?
This was the "The First Time" doing a burnout?
Solved!
You broke your shit homie! I'm gonna say you never once replaced or did needed maintenance on your clutch assembly...
Dude, bushings first!

Also, really good tires will make up for some of the ride comfort.
Update to this thread are now posted here - Megasquirt-v3-Wiring-Instructions-Get-Her-Started!
Rather than constantly updating two threads, thanks and full website with all of this documentation coming soon.
The MKiii kit is great, I have it in 3.5" black and hooks up like the bomb!
It too comes in a 4" thickness although is a tight fit if you're keeping your AC.
Porsche GT2 - Smack that Ass! Rolling in 3rd, a side waive of the hand and punch it!
I'll readily admit if there were a turn or corner, I would have went through it!
Yikes!
$1200 - could have been a custom harness and MegaSquirt standalone with leftovers. Just Saying.
I'm amazed what those things cost. Considering the actual wires only cost at most $50 for the entire loom, and they use reuse connectors if not already using yours.
This was $46 bucks and I...
what's up! Send me some of that 420 legal stuff and I'll send you my files and virtual support.
What would you like to know? Like how its a great little piggy back that makes you want a real stand alone?
Dude clean up that wiring. I'm in the great state of GA as well, You could make a custom harness that would fix that and give you peace of mind.
Why so far for a swap? Why not standalone yet?
