If my timing was horribly off I wouldn't want my pistons to destroy the valves. I've had it happen to me before in another vehicle. My timing chain ripped and my pistons crushed my valves. Costed me $1000 dollars to have a shop fix it. This time around for my supra, I wanna do things...

So do you hear the clank over a particular piston or the whole motor? I don't think messing with my cps is going to fix one set of valves with out messing up the others.
