I plan to run just under boost cut. 3in exh., air/water intercooler, boost controler. The head is going to be machined for a MHG, and replacing the valve seals too. So its already in pieces at the shop. Oh yea i also have a N/A cam lying around the garage i just might use
A burnt valve happens when the exhaust valve closes and teh valve seat constantly slams into the head upon intake stroke and slowly pushes itself into the head causing a small gap. Hot gasses in the combustion chamber to seep through the closed valve seats, this burns the valve. I wish i can...
I took my head into the shop and the mechanic showed me 3 (soon to be) burnt valves.
I really dont want to fork over the cash for new valves but i was wondering about the ebay nippon recing valves or the Ferrea valves for $269, any suggestions, anything to avoid?

Yes it a turbo, and its going ionto a toyota 4runner. I plan on running just below fuel cut, whatever hp that is but im going to be pushing 35 in tires and riverbed and dune thrashing so the motor is going to work hard!. I ran a N/A

Im putting in a new OEM gasket with arp studs. I really want good prep work so i dont do this again. I resurfased the block with brillow type wheel and was still left with pits with gasket material
