try chris, (disturbed1) he was parting out a JZA70 cut the other day
i've been on here for a while, mainly trawling tech sections and the like when i need info. but i came on the other day to find a horn button i saw on ebay a few years ago. the one with the pre 89 supra logo on it. i just...
umm, i got a bunch of stock & broken jza70 stuff.
none of which is probabably any use to you
everything else i am hording as spares (PS pump, Hydro pump etc)
there australian made and he hasn't been producing the 1jz ones for very long
alot of good things said about his rods for other cars though
there cheap as that price.
mine bumped the boost an extra PSI by swapping to a 300*600*76 (12*24*3 in inches') bar and plate cooler. i now cannot control boost under 15 psi as it starts creeping after 4000rpm
i wouldnt trust it for anything more than 10psi, theyre arnt the best of cooling cores. their design is completely different to your standard bar and plate
the man speaks the truth
ive found that boost cut is actualy 14psi, not 1 bar (14.7psi)
also FCD and the like "clamp" the voltage from the MAP sensor at a certain voltage just before cut kicks in so the ecu never thinks it is boosting over 14psi.
oh thank fuck someone has finaly done this, been shooting blind for ages doing things on my car, going of sometimes dodgy forum writeups and just getting into it til its fixed.
