I started wiring the 7M into my project and ran into some issues. I found out that 1989 is the freak year for wiring... mine has half the 89 features and a few old ones still. I need to tap into two wires in the C1 connector, which is a round gray connector on pre 89s and a square yellow one...

I paid like 180 or so for my head surface, crank polish/inspection, block surface, block inspection, and hot tank treatment. Surfaces were done to better than 10 RA. There was only 2 or 3 machine shops in my town though... might make prices higher. those quotes are ludacris. find another place.

Yeah still 4wd. With 1.5 transfer cases. I have one 4 wheel drive selector and two low ranges. So do both VSVs have the puck shaped filter? THat would make it REALLY easy to get another one. THanks for the answers guys! I really appreciate it.

I talked to titan on the phone. Their gaskets are very similar to Cometic gaskets. I have a Cometic installed. But I haven't ran the engine yet. I recommend Cometic though.
