I know that the NA cams from the 7MGE motor work in the Turbo 7MGTE. Are there any drawbacks or concers with running these and does anyone know the gains and the Gap required for intake and exhaust pucks? thanks for the help
hey i have a 7mgte and just got an ats 62T turbo... I'm wondering if it is safe for the turbo to run no coolant through it. any input is appreciated thanks
Thanks for the reply. Currantly I am a ATS 60 Trim turbo which is both water and oil cooled. The darn thing keeps having issues with the coolant lines, and it just makes my coolant temps so much warmer then my last non water cooled turbo. Do you think it would do any harm to not run the water...

I have a 90 supra with 115000 miles. Stock block and head. 57trim ct26 greddy front mount with 3" hard piping. 3"downpipe and 4" exhaust. Lexus afm rc 560cc injectors. I recently started seeing smoke out the exhaust. Did a compression test and cylinder 6 is barely 100psi. Going to get head...
Lol ford. It does pain me to walk in there. The first thing the guy says when I walk in. Isn't it awesome, as he points to the Mustang. I was like no comment lol.
So let me get this straight. Currently I have the two ports off the valve covers run to a oil catch can and the can just has a breather on it. Should I run a hose to the can from the accordian tube? Just want your guys opinion. I get smoke when I lift out of boost.
Ya it does seem that the royal purple is to slick. So it sounds like the ford fluid with friction modifier is what I want. Thanks everyone for the help.
Ya mine worked pretty good when i first got the car. It had the original fkuid in it still. Which was disgusting. I put the expensive royal purple stuff in which has the lsd additive in it. And since then it only spins one wheel.
