I've heard that throttle cables for a 3rd gen Camry (92-96) work great.

I went to the u-pull junkyard around here with my friend Steve (toyotanos), and the guy and the counter was making fun of him for walking out with 6 throttle cables :icon_razz

It's too short still. I tried it on my mk3 with 1j/dm intake manifold, I used Camry cable housing and mounting bracket but go to a bicycle shop to get a new cable and a locking bolt (I don't have a pic at the moment but ill post one later. I have a spare Camry cable too

Any bicycle shop can do this? How's it holding up for you?

I have the lokar, I just don't like the cable end that's provided. I'm going to see if a bike shop can crimp on a ball end to fit un the throttle body

Lokar sells a few different ends, I currently use a carb fitting (looks like a mini rod end) and I'm switching to a cylinder to fit my new throttle wheel.

Do you have a link? I have an ebay tb and the one that came with the kit makes the cable offset. Here's what it looks like

I don't have a link, but I used a 36" lokar cable. Once you have the cable in your hands you will be able to figure out how to make it work with the stock pedal. I don't use a stock throttle body, so you will have to figure a solution for that if you are. I run a BBK throttle body, and I just bought a bolt on throttle wheel for it, so I need to change the ends again. For those interested, the throttle wheel is from http://www.jacksonautomachine.com/buy_products/jam-spec-cnc-billet-throttle-body-wheel-bbk/ and I bought mine through AMS.

I went and bought a throttle cable off a 22r motor and it works perfect! I had to shave down the cable end a bit but it works!
