forgot to mention its got a turbo boost controller ?

its a standard mk4 ecu with a uk engine i think there550 injecters ,ive fitted a walbro fuel pump and all is bpu ,plugs decat and so on .been told it could be airflow meter ?

just had me first dyno test and bit disapointed with the results ,it show that its giving 346.8 bhp wich aint bad for a used engine but the pic shows that at 70 mph the power drops off until 74 mph and then pics up again ,its also running dangerously lean and im risking the lump. dont know...

sorry 4 delay in reply, havent got any fuel controller just running on standard mk4 ecu ,aint even got a wideband thaught you only need these when running major power.

hi pips, just wandered if any one has tried dyeing there leather trim a different color ,what was the results ? ive found a company that supplts all the gear,color remover ,leather prep,colored dye and the blocker . cant make me mind up whether to go ahead with it or not so any advice with this .

i will change the plugs and filter but there iridium and only been fitted within the last year ,thaught they were good for thousands of miles thou ?

would this also cause the box to be a bit iffy to put into gear sometimes

but am i right without the bearing the spline is held tight so no movement or have i got it wrong way round?

hi pips, ive fitted a mk4 2jz into me old mk3 and found that with the clutch peddle off im getting a noise just like a thrush bearing,so today ive tacken the box off and found there is no spigot bearing fitted,would this be makeing that noise or do you think its me box internalls. im thinking...

ive completed me 2jz gte swop but have a noise comming from my clutch until i press on the peddle,so im guessing the pilot bearing is worn out.has anyone got the toyota part number for this and can you confirm its the 1jz clutch .thanks

hi pips ive just finnished me 2jz conversion and after 3 weeks of wiring she runs like a dream. the question i need to ask is do i need an engine oil cooler as the donner car didunt have one fitted ?

i had this problem only yesturday and found that the fuse box where the fuel relay sits was missing a live feed ,i left one of the leads off, might be worth checking you have a feed to the relay (sits in the fuse box silver)
