Its alright putting the ecu wiring in the right hole and the right place isnt a bad idea....

They are pretty much the same as the us wiring diagrams with maybe 2 to 3 pins being off. Its best to ring em all out anyway instead off trusting the internet

You could buy another used ecu for back up. for your long trips????

Keep in mind a few things, like its nice to actually pick out your motor in person as you could tell allot buy looking at one like what aftermarket equipment is on it, has it had a boost controller on it. Also you make sure you can get everything you need, those little parts count and add up.
