hmm. My MK2 (assuming I gets it back someday) is daily driven, but others say it would be better off as a track queen due to the fact I've gutted most of the car (no power steering, no heat, no a/c, no cruise, etc etc). I would daily drive it anywhere, just as long as the gas mileage stays at or above the 20mpg it gets LOL

she's about 160ish whp/175ft/lbs... needs to be redyno'd due to me not doing WOT on the last run (155)

My 89T was a DD for 10 years. In the winter of 2005 it was moved to Garage Trophy status and has only been pushed around since then. I do hope to someday get back to working on it again. I picked up a new battery earlier this year and the thing started right up and ran smoothly. Not bad for 2.5 years of sitting.

I just need a tune up and then get through emissions again so it will be legal.

Fuck that shit. Mine is a weekend/pretty day toy and I DRIVE THE PISS OUT OF IT!! I'm not one of those guys who is afraid to beat on the car, I built it to perform, I use quality everything, and if it breaks, its an excuse to upgrade. I baby my car so I can beat on it.

Thats why I call her Teh Whore: She's mean, takes my money, breaks my heart, and disappoints me sometimes, but when she's on, its one helluva ride I'd never trade for anything!

I'm right there with you!!! I drive my car everyday and hard, however that is why I break stuff, but replace it fast.
