which compound advans are you talking about:
LTS = Lotus Tuned
MH = Medium Hard Compound
M = Medium Compound

Being more of an A/C tire, i don't know what kind of feedback you'll get. They are listed as OE for the Lotus Elise...if that helps any. sounds like a killer summer tire though...

Geez: Thanks!
(ummm they're still opinions ;) )

For an R Spec tire those reviews were brilliant and I think these will be my next set!

Ran Eagles before and didn't really think all that much of them I think the 048's will be a better compromise for track days as it will keep me in the street class with the slightly more sane people!

JaV: For a long wearing tire on a 500+rwhp car the Falkens are great cornering is predictable but straightline traction ummm how can I put it....
"Traction NOT here"! :)

LOL some do but not all and trust me on this I have none in the first 3 gears! (that and I want a better tire for track days as the Falkens while ok on the street aren't up to it and grooved slicks puts me in with the psycho's)

GT: Damn impressive if they only chirp into 2nd!

at 4000 in 2nd and 3rd full throttle my car smokes em off the rims......
(makes merging on the freeway interesting)

JaV: I can fiddle with the AVC-R to make it better but I'd rather get some better suited rubber before I tune power out of it for traction.

I should mention that chirping into 2nd is on low boost (14psi) probably making mid to upper 3xxrwhp at that level... Havent had a chance to run full boost on these, now that I think about it, Id probably spin through second as well running 25psi lol

JaV: The 48's are R compound so close enough and legal ;)

GT: I predict LOTS of smoke in your future :)
(mine gets great traction using my wet map in the AVC-R as it's soft and only makes 8psi till 5000 then 14)

It really gets old after 5 minutes not being able to accelerate without laying down 2 long black marks and bouncing of the limiter!
Now you know what it is like with a very lightly modded 5.0 Mustang with a T5 trans.

damn, way to ruin my fun!

oh well... only time I plan to run full boost is at the track... and I should be buying some 15's and slicks in the near future so I guess I shouldnt worry about it too much.
