Drop tranny, replace all the pieces in the throwout bearing assembly and put them back together the proper way as show in the TSRM...

Yeah I dropped the tranny. Not sure why the snap ring popped off, but I changed out the pressure plate (went back to stock) and I changed the snap ring. The pressure plate was causing alot of chatter. I'm hoping and praying to God that it doesn't happen again.

Hey SupraRon did you get your car up and running as yet?

I got the car up, but can't get the ds bolts off. Gonna get a shop to do the work for me. If only I had a hoist. Keep you posted.

I'm telling you, it's the hub...

Easy way to tell, pull the clutch fork out (just pull hard after moving the slave out of the way) and then reach in and grab the hub it grabs onto. If you can slide it back and forth on the transmission input shaft, the snapring came off because it wasn't assembled properly.

I checked this last night. The hub didn't seem to be loose at all. Anyhow, the car is now at the shop. Hoping the mechanic does a proper job!
