What is this yellow orange flash I keep seeing from behind my left hand on the steering wheel??? It looks like a bird cage.

Just fill it up with fluids and check for any leaks. I had some issue last year with a right angle shape hose that is kind of near the thermostat, so check that out for leaks.
Check all of the hoses and also the radiator for leaks.

Water pump leaks do not usually get better. IMO

I seem to be straight as she sits right now. But I will confess to not giving her a propper drive after racing the other morning. But I have started and let run for a bit just last night. We'll see. The alternator is almost on it's last leg. We

I didn't really think you were harsh'n on me joel. It was 12:30 in the morning and I had a mag light in my mouth between posts. SO I'll say that I am hoping nothing is wrong with my water pump. OH I know I have a blown head gasket. If all goes as planned I'll be able to start a new thread for you guys around the 10th of june about...., Me and my bhgff, Sunk float in the recovery tank was an extremely hypothesized answer. I'm running like you figit. I am not sure if I want to drive it till it blows up....., or work on it.., if I fix it before I blow it I may end up feeling cheated.

yeah i had that problem and my rad was filled to the brim but the reservoir was low and that fixed her right up
