I used to shoot possums and raccoons from my house's deck. bigger targets call for bigger guns... 12ga winchester semi auto loaded with slugs.

That'll teach em for eating the cat food and knockin our trash over.

Speaking of 22's, I totally have a great time with my modified 1022. (About the only thing left that is Ruger is the action and reciever/bolt.) The barrel is CF with a stainless liner.
Stock is Houge rubberovermolded and It's totally nice.
Have a 3x 40mm scope, so it's easy to see what your shooting at...

Nice, light and totally accurate.. :) And now with the Clinton gun ban gone, we can get the 30round magazines again:) (Just in time, my old ones were starting to wear out, and I'll be damned if I'm buying more 10 round magazines.)

Yep, if the 1022 can't do it, then I pull out the Bushmaster pre-ban shorty AR15, and some 30 round magazines.. :) Nothing like a nice leagal submachine gun for the masses. (Yes, it's not as small as my brothers new carbon 15 pistol, also in .223.. With the crimson trace quick release forward hand grip, that "pistol" is about as nice a SMG as I've ever shot. :) )

Yellow shooting little helpless birds? LOL that's rich, what are you going to do with it when you have shot it? (Pluck that sucker, clean it up and fry'em for dinner...)

At least Ted "kills it and grille's it."

When you hit a finch with a 22 theres not much left to skin and eat.

Try a .44 mag.... my gf's brother brought his rifle out, we were target practicing...saw a crow about 100 yards out by our target

POOF where'd the bird go... or rabbit....or squirrel.

OK any small game will explode.
