Year difference questions 86.5 vs 89

Ive got some questions as far as electrical goes, Ive got an 89 auto n/a im considering on swapping my entire n/a 5spd drivetrain into from my 86.5. I was wondering if the body harness from the 89 will still work with the engine harness from the 86.5, I realize im gonna have to use the 86.5 cluster but after that im stumpped.

I was also wondering if the door harnesses would be the same. The drivers door on the 89 is wrecked, My 86.5 however has a perfect door.

Any differences that are known, I would like to know of them please. Educate me!

could have just swapped the bare engine, I have a 91 engine in my 86.5, only switched the engine..
