Thanks Wingman.
As Wingman suggested I will have to take on less at a time and let ppl keep their money till I have them ready to ship.

I know I should have shipped my products faster but sometimes it does get really hectic.
I work 2 jobs during the week.I have SM projects which I love. Thats why I have been trying to hire reliable ppl to help do the easier work and sometimes I use my own money to pay them. But you know what?...Most people like relaxing and partying in the weekends so my worker or workers is busy partying. You see if its not their business, they wont really care.

I'm young and I have white hair due to the stress and have developed some problems. It does mess up your life, with your friends and fiance...They all need time. I havent been out and relaxed and partied good for bout 1 year now. No holidays..Nothing...just work at my job and back home and more work till late at nite...I get to bed like after 1:00 at nite...Same routine...
and it slowly fucks you up and you realize that life is stressful.

Remember when you fill in a void you leave another void elsewhere.
You spend time trying to earn and save alot of money for your future the same time you miss out on time with family, friends, fiance and enjoying life.
If you dont work hard and save mney now, later on you will struggle.
So sometimes life is not easy to balance esp when you have big dreams and goals.
And for some people it takes a short time to sort and everything and for others it takes time. It takes time esp when things in your life are dynamic...constantly changing.

Cheers,
Roy

it would be sort of easy to satisfy both stock/custom i think... like for the center consoles for example....

make one with all stock cut-outs... and another totally blank (we cut it out ourselves).... just 2 variations, simple.

then u get paid, paint it the color we want same day or next and ship it out in 2 days. .... or don't even paint it, make one color fits all (black) ... 95% of us will order that anyways.

try to make the majority of your ready-to-ship products to serve 90-95% of the community's needs... and for the rest that really want something custom and can wait, just don't take their money until it's ready to ship.

Easier said than done.

When you make the stock mold and consoles you have to remember everything has to line up. The angle of the console has to be perfect so it can slip in and out. Unlike the fleixble stock one when you can bend it to pull it out. The fiberglass console is firm and if the angle is not right things wont line up.

One thing I think I have been doing and will change is that I have been doing is making all the cutouts for ppl. They want cutouts for thier electronics and although they do give the dimensions I cannot test the fit because I do not have access to all the electronics everyone has. I think ppl will need to make the cutouts themselves so they can test fit them and make a perfect cut.

Thats right...as for those ppl who want a complete different variation I should make the product and when its ready to be shipped have them pay for it. I have done that though and some changed thier minds in the last minute and I am stuck with the product that I just made.

So its not that easy doing custom work. but its good that you guys are giving me good suggestions so i can improve my business practices.

Cheers,
Roy

If you were having trouble handling your job(s), then why did you throw more responsibility/commitments on top of those, and expect it to all work out?

You are worn out because you are overloading yourself, and you probably need a vacation...but even still that is hardly an excuse for taking so long to take care of all of your customers. You could have had all of the problems sorted much quicker than 9 months!

I have never offered a service, or any type of products to the community, but if I do, this situation will definitely be reference as to what not to do.
