I have a Pearl White Supra.... Never noticed, but I replaced the lighting where I park and now I can see it... My driver mirror is a different white and it sticks out like a sore thumb.

What would black mirrors look like on a white car? I know I cannot get the same paint match on both my mirrors, unless I repaint it all.

if you park on a busy street, then having them stand out is a good thing..

but since the Supra's mirrors dip down into the door and cut the molding, black mirrors would definitely look out-of-place on a non-black car..

also, are you going with JDM mirrors, Euro mirrors, pre 89's, or 89+'s..?

I planned on finishing with black moldings (missing a few since I bought the car)... its also pearl white. if I can find the paint cheap, I should probably just respray it, but the tri-coat is not too budget minded. I will have black left over from my engine bay respray, so its a reason I gave it any thought.

IMO I really like the contrasting colors. White/Black is my favorite. My brother's 93 Maxima is white, and has a black hood, moldings, trunk, mirrors, '97 Maxima Wheels, and even the gas door.
I just think it looks cool. The only other car I saw that pulled that look off is ProjectSupra. He's on here.

Yay but only if you have black molding and a black cf hood and tinted windows, black A pillar and black targa.
Now that contrast would look good.

missmatched color body panels = looks like you have a POS

The exception is carbon fiber, and even then it looks a bit goofy.

A local friend of mine has a white '91 MKIII. His hood, headlight covers, targa top, hatch, and mirrors are all a glossy black. His car looks very HOTTTT!!!!!!! His moldings are white and his rims are a five star black with a chrome lip. I wouldn't change anything about his car. He paints autos for a living so it looks really good.
