The tire doesn't have to go flat to get flat spots, just sit for a while. I had some junk Nittos on my Cobra last winter, it sat for three months and all four had flat spots. They went away in about ten minutes of driving, though.

WHat about using 18x8.5 +25 front and 18x10 =25 rear? I want the 521 and they dont do it in 9.5
I dont want 18x10 on front, i will need 275 to not get it look stretched.

ANyone have tried 18x10 + 25 with a non rolled rear fender? I have a Eibach drop, so not really agressive. I think it should fit but just want to be sure.

I have 521s and you'll need to roll the fenders in the back. For the front, it'll all depend on the tire and how much side wall you give them, as to whether or not they will need to be rolled.

Rolling fenders does not change the look at all. And a lot easier than trying to fix a mangled quarter panel.

You can run 18x10 +25 all around.

Ok, is there a problem of getting the 8.5 in front with some 245 tires. I'm not a big fan of monster tire in front. 275 or something like that in rear should correctly fit the 10 inch wide wheel. I need to search on rolling the fenders since i never think about that until the 521.
thanks

They're talking about the direct knockoff wheels from china that are marked as some higher end wheel, NOT XXR wheels...

I'm sure they're not just talking about knock off wheels from china only, but all knock off brands like XXR/Sportmax, Rota, Konig, Varrstoen, ASA, EXEL, ADR, etc. Where ever they're made, if in China or in someones grandma's closet the list goes on and on.

Has anyone used XXR 962's? Deep lip and 5 point is a win in my book, wondering if there are is any input on them. I would run 17x9 all around, they come with a 3" lip. I'd also consider the 526 in 17x9 as well.

From what limited knowledge I have of offsets and such the 962 will fit just fine, correct?

edit-
For quality assurance, all XXR wheels have ISO 9002 and QS 9000 certification. Their factory has also obtained the qualification of Japanese VIA Standard on quality testing which guarantees that every wheel meets their vigorous testing standards. When you purchase XXR Wheels, you know that you're getting one of the best wheels on the market.

Don't know if this helps the real vs. knock off argument, but I read this on nlmotoring.com

i had 962's 0n my 240. they were 18x7.5 and 18x9.5, with 225-40's and 265-35's. if i had it to do again, i'd go with an 8.5 up front.
if i can't find some decent used wheels, i'll be getting the 962's for my supra.

I'm curious as to how they would look on a Supra. In gold and gunmetal. I have the dark red exterior, so I don't know which would look better.
