what a great way to start my monring!

The car started just fine this morning, I starting driving just fine about 10mins later i felt some like the car wasnt moveing. When i throw it in nuetral the RPMS dropped to about 400Rpm with no Check Engine light.

i pulled into a gas station and checked Vac. Gauge reads 10-11 pressure not 20-21 ...so i thought a vac./intercooler hose came off...Everything was on

Blackish smoke was coming from the muffler and it was sputtering or misfire i couldnt tell the difference...I kept looking for some Vac. Hoses but nothing and still no check engine light my MAF sensor wasn't dirty and all my spark plugs were firing maybe an injector got stuck?

I drove it around and for some reason the car started acting right ...i drove the hell outa her! and now she idles and vac. is back to Normal...what caused my lost of vac. at ilde??

You checked all of your intercooling pipes? Sounds like one came off and you weren't getting the air that it had already metered.

True, but usually beating the crap out of it doesn't help one seal up;)

Sometimes they just need a good lesson to think about what they've done;)...but I'm sure it'll happen again.

Like Suprahero said, un metered air. Maybe to much fuel because of this. It happened to me on several occasions, sometimes it looks like the pipes are all connected.

ill recheck the pipe/hoses i have thoses Silicone hoses in blue from [suprasport] So if one came off they wont be hard to see if they were disconnected...
This happened before and my lower IC pipe was flapping [stock pipes] around once i connected everything was fine ....in this case all of them looked fine checking them twice wont hurt i guess

It's not common with good silicone, but maybe one of your hoses is starting to split? I'd check them all out; especially around the clamps just to be sure.

Just take your time and inspect everything, I sometimes even degrease my inter cooler pipes where they clamp so there is less slip for them.

You don have one or it's not on?

Wouldn't sound to me like an intercooler pipe as at idle it would cause a lean condition from zero metered air.

I'd say 02 sensor or leaky injectors. Black smoke is fuel, a rich condition is only caused by leaking intercooler pipes while in boost. Same with vacuum leaks.

The loss of vacuum was the engine having to work to idle. It was under load because it was working to burn all the fuel.

Wut? So you have pulled the codes? Your CEL won't stay on when something triggers it but the code will be stored..

No... No CEL with key on engine off, means something wrong in the circuit. The link I just posted is where to begin.
