The valley could be full to the top of the cam boxes and it wouldn't get into the cylinders......

If the plugs were loose enough to allow this you'd hear it while it was running as it would "whistle".

Have you changed anything in your setup recently?

If not it might just be a bit of wear and increased blowby.
(Have you drained the Catch Can?)

i just drained the catch can this morning, hardly anything in there. my setup has not changed at all. if the turbo seals are bad, does it smoke all the time??

Maybe i'm missing something here, but doesnt recirculating the catch can ruin the point? Thats the same thing the PCV does to begin with

I'm having almost the exact same problem. Does it stop puffing smoke after the car is very well warmed up? That's what mine is doing. It only smokes when the car is bone cold, and it smokes like crazy until its warmed up, then nothing.

I've redone the entire PCV system with a catch can and everything, no luck there. I used way-overkill hoses (-10an size) routed to the intake, so there is no way the PCV system is not getting enough flow.

I'm going to be doing a compression test and inspect for oil in the IC pipes next. I'm also going to replace the O2 sensor becaue I read a thread somewhere that someone was getting a lot of smoke, changed 02 sensors then it went away so I figured it couldn't hurt.

Ah just yank the downpipe off and check it from there...But if there's drips of oil in there anyways...sounds like turbo seals to me, pretty much a given
