yea has anyone had their car go from being normal temp non boiling coolant to boiling out of the overflow just from heatsoak.
i understand the fundamentals and i know its my high altitude and heat soak but what can i do to avoid losing a pint of coolant with every trip? im getting an aftermarket tranny cooler to take some of the heat away.
TOTALLY OF SUBJECT. but
what does an auto tranny sound like when its going bad, as in torque converter starting to fail, clutches wearing out, flywheel damaged, just it just sound like metallic chatter? or is like suctioned slipping sound. or grinding?
i got the really subtle screw in cofee can sound like its deep inside my belhousing but i can barely hear it. and a little dab of oil leeking. could oil cause the sound too?
