I'm also going with ~9.0:1 Compression, with HKS Stopper, so lets see how much fun this 7M will be. :)

Since this will be my Daily Cruiser, i'll run the CT26 at a higher PSI for a little while with the 550/VCP/SAFC combo. When the CT blows i'm going with a GT35R or T04R turbo, or hell maybe a Masterpower, with AEM or Motec.

hey Zumtizzle, if you need some 7m parts I got two shelves loaded with stuff. don't need it and I won't toss it. so pretty much complete bottom end in pieces with lower intake runner, and cams, cps, and some other stuff. don't really care on what you got to offer just as long as it goes to good use kinda deal. my shop is in sac so its no biggie getting stuff to you.

anyways best of luck man.

No Problem! I pretty much have all i need but who knows! :)

Bad News!

My moms GS300 got t-boned this morning. So it looks like i may take a break from the supra for a little while I look for a DD for her. (Yaris, Corolla, Camry, Fit, MR2 are ideas.) Her 2JZ was in great shape, great compression. She's fine, just a little shaken up, but she's going to the doc later. This is also her first accident ever so she's stressing.

I might just go 2JZ after all! (Depending on Buy Back and other factors for the lexus)

But i have so many 7M parts and I'm in too deep. So we'll see!!

If i have an issues i know some friends on this forum who can help me. :)

Well Issue I have. I just installed so many new parts prior to smog: Plug Wires, plugs, Drive belt, 02 Sensors, Thermostat, Rad Cap, Alternator, transmission fluid change, all around brakes (with a newer caliper bracket on the passenger side), only things left were a power steering pump (it squeals), timing belt (it looked fine but i was going to change it after the supra was done), and valve seals (minor smoke on start up when you let it sit filling up gas, and no smoke on startup), and tires (my cousin gave them to me.) I'd say we spent about 500-600 on the Lexus in the last few months, and i spent about more than half of that!

All the parts were quality (denso, lexus w/no discount!, and were $$$$) so expect a "swap" meet prior to it getting taken away.

I Jammed a sock in the door to keep the open door light off and from killing the battery.
All in All, It was a great car!! I bounced off it's rev limiter many times and was very very smooth.

Hell Half the hoses were changed, too. :(

I'll think long and hard prior to going 2JZ-GE-T (If it's possible).

Priority one is getting mom a car (A small one, good on gas). ;)

Nice find with the Supra. Looks very clean!

Sorry to hear about your Mom's ride. Glad she's alright.

yeah that car looks like barely took a real hit. A thousand or two bucks and a body shop stay and it will be back on the road. I highly doubt the insurance company will total the car.

^^I hope so.

It really drove nice, a replacement car is hard to figure out for my mom.

She's only owned two cars, a Corolla and that.

Thanks for the PM Ian! That really changes my mind about the "totaling" situation.

hell I wouldn't call that gs totaled.. theres places in rancho and west sac to get a new door for cheap and the rest is just time and paint match. be nice motor to run in you ride but I don't think they would call it done just on that.
