my friend has the option video of that supra. they brought the car to pomona and they wouldn't let hks drive the car because they weren't licensed for the track. So, they let one of the american drivers there drive it and he crashed it lightly into the gaurdrail.

I recall he was able to get an 8 second run even though he was a bad driver.

that would be the greased lightning car, which won at NOPI at Norwalk in Ohio. Originally a 1jz-gte rhd j-spec car, but converted to a single turbo 2jz and full mkiv power train (built toyota auto) and runs low 9's on chrome mkiv rear rims with a 315 wide BFGoodrich drag radial (he says it rubs a lot) I think it's like modahvi motorsports or something.

Hah! Wow, never thought I'd hear Mahdavi Motorsports mentioned here on the boards...they're a tuning shop north of Atlanta, GA. I had them do some work on my car a couple years ago, glad to hear they're still doing well! Sam and Arash were very nice and knowledgeable. Anyone in the Atlanta area have any experiences with them lately?

Also, here are some pics of the Greased Lightning-sponsored MKIII of theirs that won the '05 season NDRA Turbo 6 Championship :naughty:
