I was at the gasstation to get some squares and when i tried to start her up,she would'nt.I poped the hood and checked the battery terminals do to when i turned the key the dash did'nt light up which a person would think that the battery died. That was'nt the issue since for some reason the alarm went off.So then i used the key to turn it off from the driver door.I thought that if i turned the alarm on and wait for the security led to flash then use the key to turn it off again, that would fix the issue, and it did'nt.finally after disconnecting the negative battery terminal that it would reset but it still did'nt start.after 5min it started up and for some STRANGE REASON their are a line of zero's on my SUPERMONITOR display.I'm thinking i fried something.has this ever happened to anybody before cause i'm lost.

^^^ Umm, apparently the codes are now 0,0,0,0,0,0,. That still sounds like security alarm wonkiness to me. I'd yank the factory alarm and put in a good aftermarket one. gl.

no thats just what it read he never said he checked for them.

could be the alarm or just bad connection to the battery. but checking for codes is always one of the first things you should do in trouble shooting.

I could'nt check for codes do to for some reason iv'e never seen a line of zero's on the supermonitor and it would'nt let me check for the codes. This never happened to after my buddy installed his cd player in her.The battery connections are tight as well.Should i disconnect the factory alarm?

I also left out that after my buddy installed the cd player i blew out 3 fusses.one of them was a signal fuse that is under the steering wheel colum, and the other 2 were behind the cd player.Their is a yellow wire that has a little fuse box that is connected to the radio.and the second is another fuse that is connected to the radio wireing.so the fusses that were behind the radio are a 3,and #5 fuse. And the signal is a 75,or 7.5 if that makes any difference:1zhelp:

Today i disconnected the cd player thinking that it would help.but it's the same outcome.i turn the key to on and everything is normal to i turn the key to the start position and all the lights die like if the battery was dead.i checked the fusses under the hood and their allright.I don't have a signal light fuse do to i used it to put in the radio fuse.I don't think not having a signal fuse in would prevent the car from turning on,but i would love to get a suggestion or two

If you blew out those fuses them you probably blew out something else. Check the wires behind the cd player very easy to cut, nick a wire with the sharp edges on some of those players.

I disconnected the cd player and also i got most of my power back do to i've been having problems with my timing.I would'nt have any decent pickup. What i forgot to do while setting my timing was to use a jumper switch to fool the computer while adjusting the distributor for the timing.thus setting it for 10 degrees before T.D.C.I have much better pickup and she runs a like she should now. Thanks to all and t.s.r.m:icon_razz

Ok i once and for all fixed the problem.I feel stupid like i should do to the battery connection was not strong, and this just proves that sometimes the simpliest issues can be the hardest while the hardest can be easier:runaway:
