i assume you're talking about malloynx's car... :) yeah, they look damn good. you might need to roll the fenders in the back to fit 315's. ask MDCmotorsports. he's got some fatties out back. as far as i've heard, those rims should fit.

Thanks Shaeff... I just wanna make sure the offset would work and all that... I'd just poke that cobra symbol out and paint it or somethin...

But $1000 for staggered offset with that wide of a tire: not a bad deal... I prefer the black wheels, but... I need wide stickies! Im sure I could upgrade to a wider tire, maybe a 295?

That set with the 245 and 275s are nice and thats a BADASS price. They should fit quite nicely. I have always liked that style Cobra wheel, but they are HEAVY.A friend of mine had a set on his 5.0, they are at least 50lbs per wheel.

Malloynx said his wheels are from a 99 Cobra. I did some searching on ebay and the design he has could only be found in 17x8. So I dunno if those one's you're looking at are going to fit..

Fits: Mustang 1994 thru 2005

I dont see why, if 99 wheels fit, then theese should too... Right?

50 pounds each? WHAT? no... no no no... I cant believe Ford would put 200 pounds of tires on their Cobras... They're 17" aluminum... Not cast iron...

I think his are 17x8, not 17x10.5. The offset is wrong. If his wheels are indeed 17x8, then he isn't running into the offset problem because they aren't as wide.

Am I making any sense at all? Yes, no, maybe, cheeseburger? :dunno:

Cheese burger? Im eating some of that Dominos steak pizza... YUM!

So he's running 17X8s? NOT 17X10.5s?A 17X8 in the rear does me NO good... I have a set of 17X8s Im selling to help pay for these new wheels... I mean, whats the widest I can go with 8" wide rim? Couldnt fit a 275 on there could I?

I THINK he's running 17x8's. I looked up the style of wheel he had on ebay, and that was the only size listed. I asked him what size he was running and he didn't answer.

The one's you are looking at are a different style.

With the tire, sorry, should have cleared that up. They are heavy.

I was wrong, here's what he's running.

"the rims are 17x8 in the front a 17x9 in the rear. i don't nkow what the offset is, but the really close to the mkiv wheels.

i have 255's in the rear, 245 in the front. i got some 285's coming in and going on the rear"

I searched through 15 pages of ebay ads and all I could find were the 17x8's...pwnt

I still dont think 10.5's will fit.

Well, I know 10s will fit with the proper offset... People are runnin those FNR01C from 5Zigen... MKIV wheels are 9.5... What's another .5 inch?

I guess I should just doa wheel guide search and see what kind of off sets we can handle... I would just LOVE to put 10.5's on her...

they wont fit.. my buddy has cobra r style rims on his mkiii 17x9 +24 on the front and it rubbed bad.. and 10.5 w/ a +27 wont fit either.. heres a 18x10 +35 on my car 275 tire (going to try for a 295, probably have to do some fender work/alignment work... car is stock height righ now)

The cobras would stick out ~ .5-.75" more then the tire on top of that...

damn....well that just sucks. I was really hoping that I could fit some fat ass wheels in the back. What causes the 10.5 +27 to not fit? Does it stick out past the fender or rub on something on the inside?

Also, the 9" on the front, did it rub the lip of the fender or just every time you turned the wheel? How did it sit in relation to the fender.

Im just trying to visualize just how wrong it is. Thanks

You could put the 10.5's on there, but you'd probably have to stretch 285s or at the most 295's on them to clear the fender. Then, some rolling would be necessary to roll the lip up and even push the fender outward enough to fit the wheel in.

as far as wheels that fit perfectly....
17x9+22 (you can do the math for other widths)

it rubbed on bumps and what not going straight.. he had a 245/40 iirc.. They sat flush with the fender though.. MIGHT get away with rolling the fenders, but dunno.. he had eibachs

as for the 10.5 +27 they'll stick out the fender by ~ 1" (when you get a tire) with messing with suspension and smaller tire (camber it in) it might work and look ok.. dunno. My car isn't lowered in my pic.. I'll install my rims on my white 87 (has eibachs) and see how they fit..
