sorry, kinda kidding, mostly venting.
I had a weird rattling sound coming from one of the rear tires. I thought my wheel bearings were going out at first. But when I changed the rotor I found out that it was one of the springs for the ebrake setup. The spring had popped off and was rolling around inside the rotor. When I would take a turn a certain way, the spring would wedge somewhere and make a terribly annoying squeaking/squeeling sound. Our ebrake setup is like a drum brake setup. Hope this helps. Later.
So anyone have a resolution to this issue? My car started making a similar sound to this about a week ago from the rear right of the car. I haven't been able to replicate it when parked, but when going over rough pavement at low speeds it sounds like a tennis ball bouncing in a small cardboard box. Annoying.
That seem to sounds like busted front end bushings. Get under your car and start prying against the control arms and check to see if their bushings are worn.
Could also be bad struts but you will need to check those bushings in the front end first. Put up your own thread as a lot of members wont bother to go through this thread as it is from 2005.
