i know the engine will start and run without the AFM, but it could also cause it to stall out. i had this problem with my car. the gasket in the afm plug was missing, i replaced it and my problem went away 100%. the car would start and idle (jumpy though), it even went WOT fine, but on decelleration or hitting the clutch from 2k+ rpm or revving from idle it would stall out.

i mention this because its probably the easiest thing to check, and cheapest to replace.

Can't we all just be right? :icon_bigg

i couldnt either, but for some reason that was the only thing that fixed it, and if i take it out the problem comes back.

No not really, I meant to go work on it. but haven't been able to. We got it to hold an idle at 1k nothing really below that. Revving it, there's no problem just idle is where it seems to not wanna do.

But the coolant gauge doesn't wanna work, I'ma try and bleed the system and see if i can get anything. If not, I have a gauge for it, that i'll just hook up for the moment.

also got into boost just to see if it'd cut out or anything. (2psi) and it seems to do well... its just the idle everything else seems to be ok

just check the AFM plug real quick make sure the gasket is there, it only takes 10 seconds.
