Then you're lucky.
If i'm recalling correctly, anything going into our afm's can ruin the frequency 'mirror'.

The car doesn't have a MAF sensor. The air flow meter on it is a Karman Vortex meter. It has an LED, a mirror and a photocoupler. Those three optic parts don't work right with stuff sprayed on them. The vortex generator creates a swirl, and that causes the mirror to vibrate proportionaly with air flow speed. That is why it is a volume meter, and not a mass sensor.
Yep i feel dumb it says on the can dont use on karman vortex sensors and then it gets more specific and says that are on toyota supras mitusibishi and lexus vehicles lol. what can we use to clean up these sensors.
Yea that's what I did used some compressed air and a cloth right after my post lol and the cel went away.
Well I have been driving it for a week now and no serious issues code 31 for the maf sensor has come on and then goes away about two times I took it out and used a air compressor and a cloth to clean up the mirror and it seems to be working great. The only other issue with the car is the rear driver side tire seem to have some camber to it so if you make a right hand turn hard under power and don't kick the ass end out when you straighten out and let off the gas it feels like the rear tires have just made the turn it's hard to explain I do t know the technical terms but Ina take it to a shop to check out the alignment before the tire starts feathering.
