Hey guys i'm new to electrical problems, I bought an 88 supra with a 91
7mgte it was running decent until i war replacing a coupler and pulled out some very hoaky wiring for the o2 sensor. From then on it was down hill. I tried to fix it with a multimeter but don't know the wiring diagram. It boosts fine as long as you throttle it very smoothly. mash the pedal and nothing but sputtering coughing and bucking. Could it be fuel system? Everything started happening after i pulled the o2 wiring out. THe wiring is really really bad and i haven't found a chilton manual yet. Please anyone help.:nono:

Redacted per Title 18 USC Section 798
1) It's not possible for a failure of the O2 sensor or it's wiring to cause the symptoms you describe so look eleswhere.

2) Fix the O2 anyway to avoid other problems.

3) Forget Chilton. Get a TRSM and an TEWD. Until then use this one but be aware it's for a later model year and some wiring colors will be different:

For your 88 the O2 sensor wiring should have a black/red, a red/light blue and a white. The b/r and r/lb go to the black wires on the sensor while the white goes to the blue wire on the sensor.

Thanks for the o2 wiring tips got that done. Did have boost leak fixed, but still same problem now it just pulls harder. Gonna keep looking for boost leaks. What about vacum leaks? Boost leaks are the only bad things about turbos:icon_mad:
