Wiring Harness Question

I just bought a 2JZGE. My origional plan was to turbo it and run 7MGTE electronics however my friend just gave me a 1J head and intake manifold. Can I still make the 7M electronics work with it or am I going to have to find a 1jz or 2jz wiring harness and ecu?

no because in the 7m electronics you use the 7m CPS, the 1jz doesn't have a spot for it in the head.

Go standalone or equivelent it will make you world alot easier for ya, if you can spare for it or just use the 1jz ecu and harness. just my 2cents.

Since you have a 2JZ-GE bottom end & a 1JZ-GTE top end put the two together make a 1.5JZ buy an exhaust manifold & turbo kit off ebay for a 1JZ pretty cheap.
use the 2JZ-GE harnes if the NA-T forum guys know of a standalone that plugs into it.
If not buy a 2JZ-GTE harness that plugs into a stand alone, or if your comfortable with wiring just get a decent stand alone with the complete field harness & wire the whole thing in.

Find a Base 2JZGTE fuel injection map program the stand alone with a 2JZGTE base map.
find an ignitor to deliver fire to your cop.

Tune & drive...
Normaly I dont recomend starting off with a 1.5JZ but since you have all the parts & maybe the time & money:dunno: why not ?
