does anyone know if a wiring harness off a automatic turbo supra would work on a 5spd turbo from the same year as long as i change out the ecu. in advance thanks

It will work, but you can't use a wiring harness from a 5spd on an auto.

I've never done it myself, but from what I've read if it's a harness from the same year everything should plug back in except for the plugs that went to the auto tranny .

If you use the auto harness on a 5spd, you'll have some extra plugs from the auto. That's it. plugs right into the ecu without modification, plugs into all the sensors etc.

I kept the auto ecu when I swapped to 5 speed also.

:werd: . You don't need to switch ECU's unless you're going from 5spd to auto .

I am running an 7mgte Auto ECU and wiring harness with my manual w58 :icon_bigg

I also used an auto ECU and a W58 but you will have to splice the Neutral safety switch. I hate Neutrals at least with emenies you know where they stand.
