can somsone send me a thread to wire tucks done on both 7m's and 2j/1j motors im looking to do some tucks on some buddys motors but wanan see how other people did it pics and steps/ insturcitons would be helpful so i can modify it to his specifics

Toyota is not as stupid as they seem.

The only way you are tucking is to "hide" with the engine. The Engine harness DOES NOT pass into the front quarter panels. Now if you pull the entire engine harness out of it's sheething then you can rig it for that but you will be cursing that job the day that you pull the engine out.

Also keep in mind, the more wires per bundle, the less amperage capacity because of the overall heat dissipation decreases.

I agree with figgie, you would be extremely hard pressed to tuck any of the main harness wires. The only thing you could really do is to run the harness behind the firewall and have it pop out on the left side of the car, but this would require the removal of the dash and assorted components, plus the drilling of a relatively large hole in the firewall. As far as hiding the harness with the engine, the only real hiding you can do is to run the wire loom under the intake manifold.
